HTC One (M8) Google Play Edition has got its Lollipop update last month. Now two more iterations of the company's flagship smartphone from last year are now in the process of getting software updates.
This Edition One (M8) Developer as well as those units that have been sold unlocked without a contract carrier.Updates will come to them over-the-air, as is customary. And, as always, it may take a few days to do it for all the devices out there, such as scrolls, usually staggered.

So, since Sense is pretty much the same, all you get is the encryption, which will slow the phone down, and a few odds and ends. To me, it's not even worth the upgrade, especially with the Lollipop memory leak issue that hasn't been resolved yet. I'm much more excited to see what Sense 7 brings to the table.

I wish these posts about the Lollipop update would point out that it's only for US models at the moment. @Moversi even says that if you look at the replies to his tweet. A lot of confused individuals in Europe (including myself) with unlocked/sim free handsets wondering why we haven't received the update.
