Two competing groups of wireless charging standards revealed plans to merge with the agreement expected to be completed sometime in mid-2015.

I don't get this wireless charging - everything has to be wireless these days. Cable is cable - more reliable, faster when charging and it is not a big deal to plug in a cable.
And while my phone is charging I can still use it. Can you do it with the one, which is being charged wirelessly? (I mean to hold the phone in your hand)

I am glad I do not have money invested in this. I fly models and this sounds great! A working demo model and maybe I would invest but only computer drawings and figures. They should be able to have working models with very little money. Let me know when they do a 5hr+ flight, I will be most impressed!
