The latest model from Samsung, 11-inch Chromebook 2 replaces that for the longest time was our favorite Chromebook - a Samsung released all the way back in 2012.
The new Samsung Chromebook 2 is the best Chrome OS device, you can buy, but it is because it is only one of several good options at this price.
It is basically on par with other 11-inch Chromebooks, which is a good deal.

I don't get why these are called "ultrabooks" when they have 13" screens. Is it just because they are thin? The S7 sounds great, except that it is too big. Is there an equivalent laptop with an 11" screen out there?

Just a small note, Samsung has said that both models have matte screens, not glossy.
Thanks for the review! Was really wanting this Chromebook, but after hearing about the TN panel and how the 1080p is simply "better, but not great" I'm going to start trying to bid on Chromebook Pixels online. My secret hope is that Google announces some kind of Pixel 2 at Google I/O this year and that I can either get that or snag a current pixel for even cheaper.

oes this one have a cooling fan? My wife likes using the computer on the couch, while wrapped in a down blanket, and our first-gen Samsung w/the Exynos has never overheated; it does not have nor need a cooling fan.
