Cyanogen wants to take a Google's part of Android

Director General of cyanogen Kirt McMaster outlined battle will take about Google and control over Android operating system, and a daring vision of cyanide to build Android operating system without Google, being in the picture.

McMaster also explained that develops cyan version of Android, which would be open to all levels. What other developers and partners can use to create their own tightly integrated services.

I thought about that, too. They seem like saying one thing, thinking another, and doing a third one...

I'm sure Cyanogen will eventually become a greedy corporation. Whether or not it will be big or a monopoly is another story. Just look at how their relationship with One Plus devolved.

It's really hard to take him seriously. Launching an app store is fine, I suppose, but the greater message seems to be that he wants to eventually fork Cyanogen and remove all dependence on Google (and therefore Google Play). I can't see that as being easy or even particularly smart as a business move, considering consumers seem to generally really want Google integration.
