Motorola announced that the stable version update for Lollipop Moto G 2nd generation (in the US) and 1 Moto G and 2nd generation (in India) will begin deployment.
Motorola has made some "soak test" for their devices Moto G at the end of last year, a week after Google made public Lollipop version.
Motorola, it seems to update Lollipop ready for the first generation of Moto G, which is currently deployed in India, it seems, the owners of American Motorcycles G have to wait.

Well.. I was waiting for this update for the last 3 month. Finally got it on my Moto G 2014. Overall Performance has been improved.. Now i have more that 450 mb of ram free. Battery backup is also improved. And now i am getting 16 hour of uptime while connecting on wifi and on 3g mode with moderate usage.

Finally, I've had a moto g 1st gen since it came out. Solid phone deserving of a new os update.
